Below is a statement from �¼������ϲ� Board of Regents Chair Cecilia Mata on Governor Katie Hobbs’ appointment of Northern �¼������ϲ� University President José Luis Cruz Rivera to the �¼������ϲ� State Board of Education. 

“Since beginning his term as President of NAU in 2021, Dr. Cruz Rivera has been a persistent advocate for educational access in �¼������ϲ�, leading with a bold vision that puts students first.
